Dingle Bay
When I visited here last, I stayed at Heatons Guest House, which is located at the end of the Bay on the edge of the water and is a beautiful 4* Guest House that has the most amazing rooms and a breakfast menu to die for. If you ever visit this part of Ireland I would strongly recommend staying here, if you want a warm and welcoming, luxurious stay with wonderful views.

My main reason for visiting this part of Ireland was to return to Dun Chaoin and the Blasket Islands which I fell in love with on my last visit. The Blasket Islands are a group of Islands off the West Coast of Ireland and are part of County Kerry. The Islands were inhabited until 1953 and in the 1920's and 1930's a few of the Islanders began writing producing books which are deemed classics in the world of literature. Books such as 'The Islandman' by Thomas O'Criomhthian, 'Peig' by Peig Sayers are both well worth a read and describe the hard life of living and raising a family on the Blasket Islands.
